Malanka Festival

Young men dressed in traditional tsar costumes await the start of the Malanka Festival at their local commandant's house on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 in Krasnoilsk, Ukraine. The commandant is responsible for coordinating the roving group of revelers in his district. The festival will begin at sundown and last until the following evening.
